On behalf of the Yearbook staff, I’d like to welcome all of you back to another school year. We hope this correspondence finds each of you safe and well. We are also looking forward to bringing you another AMAZING yearbook for the 2021-22 school year. Although it goes without saying, there have been many changes over the last few years... some good - some bad. Nevertheless, we are comitted to highlighting the best that our students, teachers, parents and Petaluma community has to offer. 1. Where can I pick up last years book (2021)?
Answer: We are selling and distributing books from the student store, "Troys", Monday-Thursday, August 9th-12th from Noon-3pm. They will also be available on Monday, August 16th at the same location and time(s). In addition, we will make them available at the student store through the month of August during our lunch breaks.
2. Are you selling books now?
Answer: Yes, our books are ON SALE NOW! Nothing has changed with regards to our pricing and marketing program. Back-to-School pricing is available and this is the lowest price ($95) you will see all year. Visit https://www.jostens.com/ and order today. This pricing will end on September 25th.
3. There’s nothing going on at school, what will be in the book and how will you cover anything if nobody is there?
Answer: We will be covering EVERYTHING as we normally would. Again, although it may look different, our staff is committed to providing a comprehensive look at the entire 2020-21 school year. It will be a challenge, but we will continue this outstanding tradition with pride and enthusiasm. Our dedication and promise is to deliver a yearbook that encompasses the rich history of our school and the students that attend every year. We will do this amid any and all circumstance(s).
4. What about our class portraits?
Answer: Our administration team is continuing to look at ALL options to complete the traditional portraits that are taken for each class. As soon as a viable solution is reached, we will provide information through all communication methods.
5. What about SENIOR PORTRAITS and SENIOR RECOGNITION ADS?
Answer: ALL SENIORS will be receiving information about submitting a SENIOR PORTRAIT this year. We will do this through multiple communication channels and information will also be available on our PHS website. With regards to SENIOR RECOGNITION ADS, those are available as always. Nothing has changed. Click the banner to the right or visit https://www.jostens.com/ to order your senior ad today!
Deadline for Senior Portraits is Monday, November 30, 2020
Deadline for SENIOR ADS is Tuesday, March 30th.
While we continue to navigate through this challenging time, please understand that we are doing anything and everything to “normalize” the different situations that occur. As always, please feel free to reach out with any specific questions you may have. I hope this communication has answered a few of your questions. Be patient, kind and always remember that we are experiencing this together. And together, we can accomplish anything! Warmest Regards, Christopher A. Jones – PHS Yearbook Adviser
